Mātua Power
The Matua Power is a community programme run by the Porirua Whanau Centre that caters to the needs of 65+ Matua.
The main purpose is to ensure our Matua stay mobile and connected in their community, by implementing a program that promotes health and wellness and improves their quality of life physically, mentally, and socially.
Budgeting
The Porirua Whānau Centre provides financial mentors that support whānau through an in-depth self-reliance financial programme that strives to support them towards their financial goals and aspirations.

Non-violence programmes (NVP). Mandated referrals through Corrections and Ministry of justice.

Adult Safety Service AND Child Safety Services
Safety Services are available for children, wāhine and tāne.

Strengthening Safety Service
Strengthening Safety Service provided to an applicant for a protection order (offered at the time of application for a protection order) or to a victim of a family violence offence in a Criminal Court (where charges have been filed).
